PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
Perched atop the beautiful White Mountain Lodge this large floor plan 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath unit offers outstanding views of the Sierras, plus a ring side seat for all the activities in the Village Plaza. Summer or winter this is the place to be. Just steps from the gondola and a short ride to the slopes, this unit is a perfect place to call home during your ski holiday, or for our summer guests, take your mountain bike to the top and experience the thrills of down hilling on 2 wheels. In the evenings relax on the deck watching the shadows advance across the Sherwins, or jump in any of several on-site Jacuzzi's and prime those muscles for the next day's activities.
The unit offers a comfortable king bed in the master with private bath and TV, along with a queen in the second bedroom. With the enlarged corner unit floor plan, it offers a 1/2 bath right off the living room along with washer and dryer - which most 2 bedrooms do not provide. The unit also features a cozy gas fireplace, full kitchen with granite counters and separate dining area. COMPLEX DESCRIPTION
There are three Lodges nestled in the heart of The Village at Mammoth, their architecture adding to the European mountain village flair. From any of them, you have access to the many shops and restaurants The Village boasts throughout the open air plaza, without needing any form of transportation except your own two feet! You will feel transported back to a more relaxed time, without sacrificing any of the amenities of modern life. Many of the restaurants have outdoor seating areas year-round, allowing a wonderful opportunity for people watching. In the winter season you will see all sorts of skiers and snowboarders passing by as they go from their lodging to the gondola for access to the Canyon Lodge and lifts. Scattered throughout The Village are fire pits for warmth and atmosphere. Saturdays, children gather for "Stories and S'mores" around the fire. In warm weather, you can bask in the sun and enjoy the events scheduled in the central plaza.
The Lodges are named Grand Sierra Lodge, White Mountain Lodge, and Lincoln House. There are two private outdoor spas, guest ski storage and an indoor Fitness Center in each building. There is access-controlled underground parking, with clearly marked elevators for each building. Access to the elevator is by using the electronic key to your condo.
Mammoth Village & Noise
The Village at Mammoth was designed to be a vibrant, exciting place to stay, with the conveniences of being close to the slopes, shopping, restaurants and night life. With that you can expect to have a certain level of noise, especially during weekends up to 10pm. After 10pm most potential for noise is isolated to a few specific areas in the Village – see note below. If you have a low tolerance for noise during the evening hours, we recommend that you stay in one of our luxury properties in the Village Monache, on the golf course, in the Chair 15 area, or several other great locations we have to offer. The Village has many wonderful things to offer, and while most of our guests do not find the associated noise an issue, we recognize some guests prefer a more quiet getaway in the mountains.
NOTE: For those properties which we have found as having a higher than average chance for late night noise, we have identified on our website with a special note, and rates have been discounted for those properties.
